We also stay at the forefront of computer hardware and software technology and are one of the foremost Building Information Modeling (BIM) experts in the region. Some of the areas where we can provide competent services:
Project Evaluation/Feasibility Studies: Thorough investigation of a potential site and all the factors that will affect the site and building including Building Code and Governmental Agency requirements, scheduling and permitting and construction costs.
Project Entitlements: Including Site Plan development, Building Elevation Design and project presentation and advocacy for approval through Public Hearings, City or County Planning and Zoning staff, City Council and Planning Commission Hearings or other required Governmental agency's and organizations.
Develop Complete Design/Bid/Construction Documents: Full in-house production of Architectural Drawings and Specifications from Schematic Design through Design Development and into Bid and Construction Documents. Integration , coordination and management of Civil, Landscape/Irrigation, Structural, MEP, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, Acoustical, BMS and any other required discipline drawings and specifications to meet specific project needs. bha has developed relationships with competent and proven design consultants in every design discipline.
Building Information Modeling (BIM): bha utilizes Autodesk Revit and Navisworks for most of our projects unless requested otherwise. This allows us to holistically review all design discipline building models and data to reduce and eliminate conflicts between building elements and gain better control over project outcomes.
Coordination w/Governmental Agency's for Construction Permit Issuance: Including city and/or county Building, Public Works, Planning and Health Departments throughout the Western and Midwest US. bha has become very adept at navigating projects through the often times complex and intricate permitting process to keep the project moving forward on schedule.
Competitive or Negotiated Bid Assistance: Issuing Bid Documents and coordinating with General Contractors as questions or substitution requests may arise during the Bid Process, bha can guide project stakeholders through the Bidding and Contracting phase and help in the selection of construction contractor(s).
Construction/Contract Administration: bha coordinates closely with the General Contractor during Building and Site construction to answer Requests For Information (RFI's), review product and material submittals and shop drawings, and we can issue design or scope revisions as required and perform site visits. We can also provide a thorough and complete closeout package to the owner upon construction completion.
