Principal Architect & Founder

Bringing eighteen years of design and project management experience to the helm of the firm, Byron established bha in 2012. Idaho born and educated, Byron earned his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Idaho in 2000. He is licensed to practice in eight states and has in depth experience in all aspects of large and small, new and remodel residential and commercial retail projects throughout the western US. Byron has also worked as a Design Principal on multi-family and commercial office space projects. Passionate about serving his clients and creative, collaborative problem solving, he seeks to deliver excellence to every client, on every project. A great admirer of the Classical, Romanesque and Art Deco design and craftsmanship of the past, he appreciates practical, functional yet creative design. Byron demands that every project at bha, no matter how simple or complex, receives the thoughtful, detail oriented attention that it deserves. Byron makes a point each year to take time to explore the beautiful Idaho outdoors with his family and coach youth football.

Associate Principal

Linden has been a part of bha from the beginning and has a 25 year professional background in both construction and design.  

Project Manager

Ryan started with b.hills architecture in the fall of 2016 as a BIM/CAD operator while finishing his final semester at CWI to achieve an A.A.S. in drafting. Ryan possesses twenty plus years of hands on experience in residential and light commercial construction and remodeling. Growing up in the Treasure Valley, Ryan has enjoyed Idaho’s fishing, hiking and boating with family and friends.

Sr. Project Manager

Celeste Graduated from the University of Idaho with a MA in Architecture and a BA in Interior Design and Fine Arts. She has over 16 years of experience in commercial and residential design including international projects.

When she is not working, Celeste likes to be outdoors, camping, razor riding, paddle boarding, snowboarding, gardening or welding as well as enjoying family time with her husband and son.

Project Manager

Corey has a BA in Architecture from the University of Idaho. He has 18 years of residential experience and 4 years of commercial architecture experience. Corey enjoys camping, dirt biking, hunting and fishing with his family on his days off.

Architectural Intern

Kelsey was born and raised in Boise, ID before heading to Portland State University to pursue a B.S. in Architecture. Kelsey joins b.hills architecture as an Architectural Intern.

She enjoys long walks, playing in a Mariachi, road trips, and sharing a good meal with friends.

Office Manager

Carissa is proud to be serving a growing professional company alongside her spouse. She ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of the office and the administrative aspects of all projects. She is responsible for the company’s compliance as well as the renewal of professional and general liability insurances. Carissa manages invoicing of projects as well as the all the accounts payable and receivables. In her free time she is busy transporting kids to and from their many league sports as well as taking time to enjoy Idaho’s great outdoors!
